Our Vision
To become a leading producer and supplier of premium, sustainably produced Nilotica shea butter, while building prosperous communities and restoring the Nilotica shea landscapes of Northern Uganda.
Our Mission
To improve the livelihoods of shea-producing communities—particularly women—through sustainable harvesting, local value addition, cooperative enterprise, regenerative agriculture, innovation and access to premium markets.
Certifications
FairWild
Our FairWild organic certification process is currently in the audit phase. We anticipate attaining our FairWild Certificate by December 2026
Organic
Our organic certification audit is planned for the May–August 2027 shea harvest season to enable certification of our full Nilotica shea value chain—from wild collection and aggregation to processing and storage. The audit will verify our Internal Control System (ICS), traceability, chain of custody, segregation, processing controls and organic integrity under actual harvest and production conditions
UNBS
We are currently undergoing the UNBS product certification process to demonstrate compliance with applicable Ugandan quality, safety and production standards. We expect to complete the required assessments, product testing and facility compliance requirements and obtain UNBS certification by December 2026.
